The exhibition includes recent paintings, drawings, and mixed media works reflecting on the fading hopes we dream up for our future as they dissolve into memories of what might have been.
Also on display is the work of two other artists: Alex Itin and Kelley Nelson. Additionally, Frank Laney, a dealer of rare and unique objects, is presenting Oddfrank, a pop-up store offering a curated selection of artifacts for sale to the public.
Alfredo Muccino’s artwork includes paintings on canvas and wood, drawings on a variety of paper mediums, and mixed media projects that include collages, sculptures and assemblages.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Alfredo Muccino has led a nomadic life since birth – making Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Morocco and the US his home at different points in his life. Exposure to a variety of diverse global cultures has helped shaped his perspectives on life, love and the world at large. His artistic inspiration includes the art and architecture of Ancient Rome as well as the work of Picasso, Matisse, Schiele, DeChirico, Condo, Morandi, Warhol, Basquiat, and Hockney among others.
