Augustus

Considered the founder of the Roman Empire, Augustus referred to himself as “first citizen,” rather than emperor. His reign is most famous for initiating the Pax Romana (Roman Peace), a 200-year period of relative stability. Perhaps some of our current leaders could learn from his deeds?
